I attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from 1991 to 1993. I was on the Dean’s List in Summer 1992, Spring 1993, and Summer 1993. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Certificate in Physician Assistant studies.

I have been working in the field of Bariatric Surgery for 13 years. I am blessed in my work experience to have the unique experience of working with both adult and adolescent Bariatric surgery patients. This has allowed me a detailed perspective into how both of these population’s unique strengths and challenges impact their journey of surgical weight loss.
